MEDICAL STUDENTS

Borrego Health is affiliated with Drexel University School of Medicine, St. George’s University School of Medicine, University of California Riverside School of Medicine and Western University School of Osteopathic Medicine. We anticipate greater than 130 medical students will be rotating in our clinic sites in Family Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Psychiatry, and Urgent Care, as well as other specialty rotations.

 

We also encourage medical students who are looking to return or relocate to Southern California to contact us for elective rotations. We have a rich history of innovative care, serving the most vulnerable members of our community, and being part of the Southern California FQHC safety net for care.

 

Our Medical Student Clerkship Directors are Dr. Ivy Cao, for University of California Riverside SOM; Dr. Damoun Rezai, for St. George’s University SOM; and Dr. Blake Wylie for Western University SOM. We actively work with these universities to place students, If you are from one of our major affiliates, the students can work directly with their School of Medicine Clerkship office.
