FAMILY MEDICINE PROGRAM | CURRICULUM

Our Family Medicine Residency Program was developed with Borrego Health’s mission in mind which is to train competent, compassionate physicians who are well versed in the care of underserved communities while also striving to focus on Family Medicine-Centered education.

While in our 36-month program, residents will have the opportunity to treat patients that are part of a diverse patient population and be taught by physicians who are experts in their field. The Family Medicine Practice is part of an FQHC that provides patient care to the underserved/underinsured community. Residents will gain understanding in treating patients from this group type. Residents will graduate from our program with confidence in knowing they received the training needed to provide excellent care to their patients
